Evidence-based Guidance for Movement, Healing, and Care.
“When we listen gently to the pet, our care becomes an act of connection — an exchange of empathy and respect that strengthens the bond between pet and person.”

Two Ways to Help Pets
Whether you are a pet professional or a pet parent, this work is built around the same belief:
Care is most effective when it is evidence-based, thoughtfully applied, and grounded in respect for the pet in front of us.
Choose the path that fits your role.
TWO PATHS:
-

Pet Professional Path
Clinical Tools to Support the Full Care Process
I support veterinarians and physical therapists through a clear, flexible clinical framework that moves from learning, to doing, to educating clients— while simplifying your workflow.
-

Pet Parent Path
Compassionate Care for Healing and Recovery
I work directly with pets and their people to support healing, comfort, and confident movement through in-person physical therapy and guided home care education.
“When the path forward feels uncertain, we turn to evidence. Grounded in research and built on the work of those who came before us, we move forward with calm confidence—focused on healing the pet in our hands.”
About Sasha
Sasha Foster is recognized for her pioneering efforts in canine physical therapy and rehabilitation. As a human physical therapist (PT) who shifted into the veterinary field, she brought evidence-based rehabilitation strategies from human medicine into veterinary care — especially for dogs recovering from injury, surgery, or dealing with chronic conditions like arthritis. She started the rehabilitation department in the Orthopedic Medicine & Mobility Department at Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, the #3 Teaching Hospital in the nation. She continues to practice animal physical therapy at CSU.
Standardizing Care
Her work helped develop protocols and outcome measures that are now standard in post-op care (TPLO, IVDD, hip dysplasia, etc.).
Pioneer of “Cross-Disciplinary” Animal Rehab
Sasha helped bridge the human physical therapy and veterinary medicine fields at a time when animal rehab was not yet widely accepted or standardized.
Focus on Owner Education
She has emphasized home exercise programs and owner involvement, empowering pet guardians to become active participants in their dog’s healing journey.
